Thanksgiving is just around the corner. If you’re in a hurry to serve or take away dessert, you’re in luck. What I have for you is a very healthy, gluten-free vegan he dessert because it’s so chocolaty and delicious. Everyone will fall in love with it! Best of all, it’s a no-bake cake, so you don’t even need to open the oven.
So, if you’re looking for a dessert that doesn’t break your diet and is actually good for you, the recipe below is what doctors ordered.
peanut butter chocolate no bake cake
material:
- 300 grams peanut butter (crunchy or smooth, as you prefer)
- 150 grams of hazelnuts
- 300 grams Medjool dates (fresh, seeded dates are best)
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons honey (or organic maple syrup)
- 6 tablespoons raw cacao
- pinch of sea salt
direction:
Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend together. Your mixture shouldn’t be perfectly smooth, so chunky bits are fine.
Scrape mixture into cake mold and press firmly.
Leave the cake in the freezer for 1 hour and refrigerate before serving.
When serving, top with fresh raspberries and add coconut yogurt on the side or eat as is.
If you want to increase the protein content, add a scoop of your favorite protein powder (we recommend the chocolate flavored one) before mixing the ingredients.
And you have it! Super healthy peanut butter and chocolate dessert! Your guests won’t even realize that what they’re enjoying is actually healthy. Plus, you don’t have to feel guilty about ruining your diet this Thanksgiving (well, at least when it comes to desserts).
With such an easy recipe, this just might become the go-to dessert for every party. Or you can have it for dinner.
