See who’s back. It’s the country’s favorite military enthic.
Senior Warrant Officer Leong Teng Kee rose to TikTok stardom earlier this year.
In a TikTok video posted on Wednesday (October 12), he reappeared to share tips and tricks for those attending the Safra Singapore Bay Run & Army Half Marathon.
But even if you’re not training for such an event, there are some resources that can help motivate you to start a training routine you’ve been putting off.

Nutrition plays a big role in getting fit, so watch your dietary intake, advises Teng Kee.
“Today you [exercise] 500 calories burned [then] Go eat 10 or 20 pratas and you’ll get 1,000 more calories. ”
The 55-year-old added that reaching optimal fitness levels takes time and that listening to your body is key.
Fitness and exercise are best done “at your own pace” so there is no need to rush the process.
This is beneficial in the long run as it can help prevent injuries.
Teng Kee’s final piece of advice is to never forget to stretch after your workout. Doing so helps your body “get back to normal before it cools down.”
Many netizens have listened to what Teng Kee has to say, one of whom said the advice provided was “very practical”.
A cheeky TikTok user wrote down Teng Kee’s advice in a letter and devoured prata instead of sweating it out in the fields.
If you’re looking to get off the couch, Teng Kee has you covered too.
In another clip posted today (October 14), he shared a full-body workout.
This high-intensity interval training routine lasts approximately 11 minutes per set and works your glutes, quads, abs, triceps and biceps.
Exercises include:
- Abs
- squat
- climbers
- burpee
- push ups
- rear lunge
Between each exercise, you can “rest” by doing jumping jacks.
It’s not the easiest workout, so don’t forget cool-down exercises and of course plenty of water.
Half full bottle, drink up!
