“I accidentally started intermittent fasting when I encountered coffee many years ago. So I actually drink coffee on an empty stomach. Is it healthy? Probably not. I do,” admits Francia.
When she’s ready to grab food, she usually whips up her go-to granola recipe. Contains coconut oil, hemp seeds, chia seeds, pecan nuts, pure maple syrup and a pinch of salt.
“I’m a big fan of plain Greek yogurt with homemade granola every morning, especially before a workout, because your body absolutely needs something to burn fat or whatever during your workout,” she says. says.
lunch
After a workout, Francia reaches for a shake or smoothie. After that, she usually chooses a salad for lunch. Sometimes she mixes it up with fresh fish, seaweed salad and a poke bowl containing rice, sometimes she does well with pizza and fries too.
snack
Francia says she’s not a big eater, but enjoys apples with peanut butter. She also never hesitates to have a late-night snack.
“I tend to do yoga late at night. I like it before bed, but obviously when I go to bed I’m hungry,” she says. “It’s best to have a little granola and yogurt before bed.”
dinner
Francia does intermittent fasting, so she likes to keep dinner around 6:30 and eat more earlier in the evening.
She eats a lot of nutritious foods such as steak, fish, rice, potatoes and vegetables. She says, “Depending on how much I’ve exercised that day or week, or if my body is like, ‘Not today,’ I try to balance it out.”

“I don’t like sweets at all,” confides Francia. If she’s craving something sweet, she’ll have a little cookie and cream ice cream.
But when Francia really wants to soak in her guilt, she sips her favorite Ketel One botanical drink. “Personally, I like peach and orange blossoms, and you like picking garnishes and soda water. That’s it.”
She has learned some lessons over the years.
“We’re learning a lot about our bodies, and as I enter my mid-30s, I’m learning about how food stays in my stomach,” she says. increase. “My eyes are definitely bigger than my stomach, so I had to learn how to portion better.”
