She shared this super easy and healthy walnut cake recipe on Instagram. Using oat flour and pureed dates instead of refined flour and sugar makes this cake super healthy. “Anyone want a healthy and delicious tea cake? Let’s do it! Nice!” she wrote in the post’s caption.
Walnut cake recipe: How to make walnut cake
To start the recipe, mix rolled oats, oat flour, date puree, chia seeds, vanilla extract, baking powder, salt, and chopped walnuts in a baking tin. Next, add the coconut oil, pureed dates, walnuts and a little honey to the skillet and caramelize the walnuts. When finished, arrange the caramelized walnuts on top of the oat mixture and bake at 200°C for 25 minutes.
