The confection in question is thought to symbolize good luck and prosperity, so it became the top layer of the multi-layered wedding dessert traditionally reserved for consumption on the first anniversary of the newlyweds. The rest of the cake had already been served to the crowd before the moment happened that was hurriedly captured by the camera.
Hailey, who wore a brightly colored polka-dot puff dress for the occasion, may have been comfortable with what she thought was an innocuous act, but after realizing what she had actually done, she said, “I’m sorry. ”.
“Apologies to the bride and groom,” she captioned the video, which has since been viewed more than 6.4 million times.
Describing the situation, she wrote:
“Okay, I hate myself!” she added a small text at the bottom of the video.
As the video gained momentum on social media platforms and received widespread attention across the internet, the bride herself spoke up and dropped a comment confirming she had nothing against the young woman. Seem.
