Steroids and pharmacotherapy in bodybuilding have become a hot topic. Powerlifters, strongmen and bodybuilders are more transparent these days and don’t mind sharing cycle details with their fans and followers.
Recently, the bodybuilding community has been rocked by a number of deaths in the community, starting with the death of Sean Rhoden last year due to suspected heart complications.
A trend of concern continues this year as Cedric McMillan tragically passed away in April, but according to his wife, details regarding his death have yet to be officially released. NPC/IFBB judge Jerry Ward also died last month, with many suggesting it was due to a heart attack. In Platts’ opinion, bodybuilders run into problems if they keep pushing an excessive amount of gear.
Tom Platts reveals a lifelong “minimal” bodybuilding cycle for the two compounds.
In a video published on YouTube, Tom Platz shared that he’s only used Winstrol and Deca his entire life/bodybuilding career.
“I got so strong. I was squatting six plates before I took the medicine,” said Tom Platts. “I have to tell you because it’s on my mind — and no one will believe me, they won’t believe me when they hear this. 20 milligrams of his Winstrol (Stanozolol) A day, a little pill, a little pink pill, and one shot of Deca (nandrolone) 100 milligrams for a week That was the drug cycle of my life. That’s all I’ve done so far. said Tom Platts
According to Tom, he has never taken testosterone or designer drugs.
“I’ve never taken testosterone. I’ve never taken any of these designer drugs. It worked for me It has given me a long life, a livelihood to this day I thought that drug overdose could actually cause problems as we see today increase.”
Platts likens bodybuilding drugs to car shows. A bodybuilder’s physique is a car, and the medicine they take is wax to polish their paintwork.
“I was just trying to be real and real, and drugs were like waxing a car. I remember the Volkswagen To Ferrari’, you know. But it’s like taking a car to an auto show or drag. Wax the car. You have to be a monster, a muscle guy, a muscle girl before you can start using drugs.”
He added that he is unsure about the drugs bodybuilders are currently using and that it is a different world.
“But we’re looking at what some people are doing right now with androgens and how it affects the sarcoplasm, the liquid substance that surrounds the muscles. I’ve come to respect and understand modernity — I think we’re in the quagmire of pharmacology,” Pratts said.
“It’s a different world here. As a side note, when I first started bodybuilding, I thought I was going to have to stay in my apartment and take a ton of drugs and eat every hour.” Adds Platts. Bodybuilding to me was about girls and the beach, bodybuilding and training, and tank tops.”
Pratts believes his bodybuilding lifestyle has changed since he joined the sport.
“Richness and prosperity and living the dream. Why would men and women want to participate in the sport?”
