Beloved TV star Jane McDonald turned around for years with her incredible weight loss changes, reducing her size from 12-14 to 8. But how did she lose her weight? The 59-year-old previously revealed that her diet restricted “white carbohydrates” such as white flour and white pasta, and she did not eat potato chips.
She chooses to start the day with a green smoothie every other morning.
“I blend a mixture of raw vegetables, flaxseed, chia seeds, spinach, kale, mint and bananas. It’s really nice,” she said.
Since 2017, Jane has released Channel 5’s TV travel show Cruising with Jane McDonald, but when she sails and does her favorite thing in her life, she gets on a cruise ship. I admitted that I could easily put on my weight.
She said in 2019: “This is the first cruise I carried about £ 8. I ate my weight on that cruise,” Jane said.
“If I have breakfast, I don’t have lunch. If I have lunch, I don’t have breakfast.

“I don’t eat everything I can eat on a cruise. I eat a lot of salads when I’m at home, but I’m absent when I’m away.
“I don’t want to go on a diet on a cruise because I want people to see what they can have,” she told PA.
However, after appearing at ITV’s Sugar Free Farm in 2016, she learned valuable ways to lose weight and stay slim, and kick-started her journey to a healthier four. I succeeded in losing the stone.
Participants were given a sugar-free diet to improve their overall health. In the first two weeks, Jane lost a stone (9 pounds) by cutting out delicious but unsuitable weight loss ingredients from her diet. ..
When I spoke to Express.co.uk earlier, Jane revealed: “I lost a stone and a half by participating in the sugar-free farm on the TV show.

“I used to eat a lot of trash. I didn’t know how much trash I was eating. I always loved pies and was always hungry, so I ate mainly carbohydrates.”
She admits:
“I like my life and the schedule requires a lot of energy, but I’m starting to get pretty tired and blaming my age.”
The program taught her a lot and she no longer eats bread containing yeast.
Jane said at the time: “The only bread I eat is the one I got the recipe from Angelique Panagos. [the ITV show nutritionist]..

“It’s yeast-free and contains a lot of pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, whole grains, oats, yogurt and more.
“It’s literally done in 20 minutes, and it’s ready to put in the oven,” she told the Daily Star.
Jane added, “I don’t eat much of it, but if I really want a little starch, I just take it out of the freezer and stick it on the toaster.”
By the end of the program, Jane had lost one and a half stones and by 2016 she had lost four stones.
And she maintained her slim figure by sticking to some of the show’s rules.
In 2015, Cruise Star revealed that alcohol, cakes, biscuits and convenience foods need to be cut.
She said the hardest part for her was not drinking red wine.
Jane completely reduced her wine and had a glass only once a week.
The contents of her fridge are now filled with much healthier food. “It packs lean meat and chopped vegetables from top to bottom in a box of Tupperware-green peppers, spinach, something like that,” she said.
“I got a new life lease. Appearing in this program is the best I’ve ever done.”
