In his latest post, Ayurvedic expert Dr. Dixa Bhavsar talks about five very simple weight loss tips that can have astounding effects for almost everyone.
1. Circadian rhythm fasting
Instead of changing your diet to extremely low calories, you can follow a circadian fast that allows you to eat during the day from sunrise to sunset.
“Eating from sunrise to sunset means eating for 12 hours and fasting for the remaining 12 hours. For example, breakfast is from 7 am to 8 am and dinner is from 7 pm to 8 pm. Fast from dinner to breakfast the next day. There is nothing but water. This helps your body digest everything you eat and expel everything you don’t need. 2. Sufficient hydration
Optimal fluid intake helps you control your emotional thirst as it will satisfy you. Drinking plenty of water is the best way to detoxify your body. It also helps with proper digestion and excretion. According to Ayurvedic experts, low fluid intake can cause constipation and dehydration, leading to hormonal imbalances and weight gain. She adds that warm water is ideal for reducing excess fat.
3. No sugar, fried foods, processed foods
Avoiding these foods reduces pressure on your liver and promotes better digestion and optimal detoxification. It also reduces inflammation of your intestines and allows you to absorb optimal nutrients from the foods you eat.
4. 40 minutes of movement and 20 minutes of breathing work every day
“Movement improves blood circulation throughout the body and provides enough nutrition and oxygen to all cells in the body. Breathing gives you peace of mind and helps you eat carefully. Eat carefully. That will never allow you to eat more or less than your body needs, harmonizing the secretion of leptin-grelin (hunger and satiety hormones), “says Dr. Bhavsar.
5. Sleep soundly
Sleep is one of the best ways to reduce excess fat from our body. Sleeping by 10 pm optimizes liver detoxification. Pitta is the dominant time between 10 pm and 2 am, and you can lose weight between 7 pm and 8 pm, especially if you have an early dinner.
