Sydney’s mother Rebecca Gawthorne, well known on Instagram as Nourished Naturally, shared a video detailing exactly what to buy and avoid when browsing the Health Food Aisle.

Rebecca first picked up a bag of roasted pumpkin seeds, then a packet of unsweetened cookies and compared the two.
She states that pumpkin seeds are “rich in healthy fats and rich in nutrients such as magnesium and zinc,” and I highly recommend this purchase.
By comparison, chocolate chip cookies are “too much processed” and would prefer “regular cookies without all additives”.
Next, she picked up a bag of “too much processed” sugar-free cookies and preferred “regular cookies without all additives.”Rebecca also suggested that you rarely buy virgin coconut oil.
“Next is virgin coconut oil, which is a hype product rich in saturated fat and I prefer to buy other oils as the main cooking oil,” she said.
Next, she chose dry roasted mixed nuts, which are “an excellent source of healthy fats” and contain plant-based proteins, including iron.
Rebecca recommended this purchase.
After 48 hours, the video was watched more than 31,000 times and I am grateful that many people shared Rebecca’s recommendations.
“It was very helpful,” one wrote, and another added:
The third asked for the oil she suggested. Rebecca said: “Extra virgin olive oil is a great choice for the majority of home cooking.”
