High blood sugar can lead to various health problems. Primarily, it can lead to diabetes, with an estimated 34.2 million people in the United States. High blood sugar means there is too much sugar in the blood. This is either because your body has too little insulin or your body is not working properly with insulin.
Although it can seem out of control at times, there are ways to manage high blood sugar. You can maintain it by reviewing your lifestyle and eating habits. This means eliminating foods (even your favorite ones) that could do more harm than good for you. We’ve put together a list of the worst foods you shouldn’t eat if you have high blood sugar.
