If you are monitoring your sugar intake, it is important to read the nutrition label as this version contains sugar. There are no sugar-free varieties yet. I also noticed that after several uses, the spout of the box appeared to fall due to moisture. This is something to consider when buying a box.

My favorite thing to buy at Costco is almond butter. For a $ 9 27 ounce jar, it lasts for months and is a good price, especially compared to the smaller jars in local grocery stores that sell much more.

Buying your favorite healthy grains in bulk is a good way to keep them in stock if you eat them regularly. Costco sells white, brown, jasmine and basmati rice in a variety of bags and sizes. Depending on where you live, we’ve found that large rice balls can last for months, depending on how often you cook them on a weekly basis.

If you’re trying to increase your protein intake, or if you’re trying to meet your daily quota, it’s helpful to have your protein readily available at home. Costco sells a variety of animal proteins, including chicken breast, minced meat, and various meat fillets. These are great options for later purchase and freezing. Prices vary from pound to pound. I buy a large pack of chicken breast and split it into separate ziplock bags. It freezes and thawes weekly when preparing meals.

The store also sells 20 egg cartons in the refrigerated aisle. This is a good option if your family regularly eats and cooks eggs. Eggs are an excellent source of protein filled with B vitamins, vitamin D, zinc and other nutrients needed for good health.

Costco also offers packs of liquid egg whites offered in six 16-ounce cartons. Egg whites are suitable for use in omelets and smoothies, or for easy protein inclusion in your diet. The only drawback of egg whites is that the carton occupies a considerable amount of space. Therefore, you need to consider whether the refrigerator is big enough to hold everything.

Certain cooking oils have a quality that can bring health benefits to you and your family. For example, studies have shown that olive oil has high antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Costco carries different types of oil in liter or quart bottles. I usually buy a 2 liter EVOO bottle. It can easily last for months at a time.

Buying frozen fruits in bulk is a good way to keep costs down and enjoy daily servings while enjoying out-of-season produce. In fact, frozen produce is nutritious because the items are frozen during peak hours. Costco sells a variety of frozen fruits in £ 4 or £ 5.5 bags, as well as acai smoothie packs. When the fruits are out of season, I pick up their frozen pineapple or mango bags, and they add an even better texture to my smoothie.

Costco sells a wide variety of fresh produce in sufficient quantities to maintain a large assortment. Everything from berries, grapes and oranges to broccoli, salad kits, onions and potatoes. If you’re trying to feed a family of four, or if you’re trying to add fruits and vegetables to your diet, it’s an ideal place to buy produce in bulk. I try to keep a bag of mixed greens and spinach at hand. I think this is an easy way to add greens to your diet without much preparatory work. I buy these items so often that those packages have more servings and I think they’re worth getting from Costco as they can make me last more than 2 weeks without being compromised increase.
