TLC’s hit reality show is finally back for a fourth season. On Tuesday night, many fans checked in on overweight sisters Amy Slaton with her Halterman and Tammy Slaton. Tammy admitted to hitting rock bottom at the time of recording, but viewers of 1000 Pound Sisters were stunned by how Chris Combs looked after she revealed she had lost nearly 100 pounds.
Fans are praising Chris’ efforts to lose weight after revealing a 95-pound loss in the season 4 premiere of 1000 Pound Sisters.
The dramatic new episode kicked off with Tammy’s lowest point in tears after sharing her highest weight of 714 pounds.
Amy, meanwhile, admitted that while she enjoyed being the mother of her first son with husband Michael, her relationship with her sister was a struggle.
Chris, who has become more committed to a healthier lifestyle, argued that Tammy could “break them down” as a family if she didn’t work harder towards her goals.

Once the episode aired, hundreds of fans congratulated Chris online, looking slimmer than when he was last seen.
Redditor u/Different_Crab_2556 commented: And I love how he and his wife always walk hand in hand.
“I think Chris could be the most successful sibling when it comes to weight loss if he keeps up with it.”
“Proud of my boy Chris,” added u/uncommonphilospher. “I was stunned when he appeared on screen.”

Chris has dropped an impressive 140 pounds since starting his weight loss journey with the series.
In season 3, he underwent bariatric surgery and slimmed down significantly from the previous season, so it’s clear he’s maintained a healthier diet.
“The main reason I want to have this surgery is because my father passed away at the age of 57,” Chris said in a confession.
“When [my dad] It was between 400 and 500 pounds. i he is 41 years old I want to help my children grow and my grandchildren grow.
“I want to be able to teach them everything I know. I want to be close to my family. They are everything to me.”
Hopefully sisters Amy and Tammy can achieve the same success, but the fourth season is just getting started, so there’s still a long way to go.
1000lb Sisters airs on TLC in the US on Tuesdays. A UK release date has yet to be announced.
